"Fauve"

A solitary figure emerges through layers of colour, shadow and texture. The coarse sand embedded in the surface creates a rough, weathered skin, contrasting with the softness of the painted face. It gives the work a physical, almost tactile presence—as if the figure has been shaped by time, rather than simply painted.

Warm reds and oranges move through muted tones, while drips, scratches and fragments remain visible beneath the surface. Fauve explores the tension between vulnerability and inner force: something delicate, yet instinctive and untamed.
