Shipping & Handling of Original Artwork

All paintings sold through this webshop are one-of-a-kind, original artworks. Each piece is carefully packaged to professional standards to ensure safe delivery.

All orders are shipped with tracked and insured shipping. Insurance coverage applies only to the shipping process and is subject to the carrier’s terms and conditions.

Risk of Loss & Insurance

Once an artwork has been handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the buyer. In the rare event that a painting is damaged or lost during transit, any claim must be made through the shipping carrier’s insurance.

Because each artwork is 1 of 1, damaged or lost pieces cannot be replaced.

Damage Claims

If your artwork arrives damaged, you must:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs of:

    • The damaged artwork

    • The packaging (inside and outside)

    • Any visible shipping labels or damage indicators

These materials are required to initiate an insurance claim with the carrier. Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in the claim being denied.

Refunds & Compensation

If an insurance claim is approved:

  • Compensation will be limited to the amount paid by the shipping carrier

  • Refunds, if applicable, will not exceed the original purchase price

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless covered by the carrier

Please note: emotional value, artistic uniqueness, or future value of the artwork cannot be compensated.

No Replacements

Due to the unique nature of original artwork:

  • Replacements are not possible

  • A damaged piece cannot be recreated or exchanged

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this condition.

Agreement

By placing an order, you confirm that you:

  • Understand the artwork is original and non-replaceable

  • Accept the risks associated with shipping fine art

  • Agree that insurance claims are the sole remedy for damage or loss during transit
